When I was 12, I lost my dad and I watched firsthand how confusing and painful the probate process could be. No one could agree on anything.

And years later, when I lost my mom and then both of my grandparents, I found myself right back in the middle of it — this time with no support, no financial education, and a mountain of pressure I didn’t feel equipped to handle.

There were moments I felt totally abandoned, angry, anxious, and lost.

There were choices I made that I wish I could go back and redo.

And there were opportunities I didn’t even see until it was too late.

But eventually, I reached a turning point.
